Taking the February 2021 FSOT, then this challenge is for you!
The next testing window for the FSOT is between January 30 – February 6, 2021. You may think you still have two months of preparation time, and you do.
phew
But, you only have about a month left before your first important deadline.
On December 30, 2020, the registration window to submit your application and personal narratives (PN) will open. This is a critical date.
Yes, you have until January 28, 2021, to submit both your application and PNs, but registration follows a “first come, first serve” model. This means there are limited locations, times, and seats to take the test. Once a seat is taken or an online proctor is booked, the time slot is removed.
If you live in a big city, you may be competing with hundreds of applicants. If you live in a rural area, you may have to drive one or two hours to your nearest testing site. Remote proctoring is available, but with COVID-19 still a concern, you will be competing with many who want to stay home and take the test.
What’s the solution?
Submit your application and personal narratives on day one: December 30.
To help you get there, on November 30, I will start a 30-day boot camp challenge to get you from nothing to ready to submit both your application and all six personal narratives.
The only “cost” to you is to commit to the process and agree to submit assignments on time. The challenge will rely on peer review, which means cooperation. I’ve organized such a challenge a couple of times before. It works so long as all who say they will participate actually do so.
If you’re interested, you can register here. Registration is now closed for the 30-day challenge. A new challenge will take place for the June test.
